Okay, yesterday the drive to play a CD was working...then all of a sudden
today it's not??? When I stick it in the drive...nothing pops up (programs to
choose from). I don't know what can be wrong???? Thanks so much

From WMP help.

Start the Player and insert the CD or DVD you want to play into the drive. Typically, the disc will start playing. If it doesn't, or if you want to select a disc that is already inserted, click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, and then click the drive that contains the disc.

If you want the Autoplay feature to work correctly, then check this article

-----I tried this...but it's got a big exclamation point on the drive
itself, and has a Code 37. I don't know what that means?????? I tried
uninstalling and reinstalling it like the troubleshoot said to do...but it
still didn't help. I don't know what could be wrong with it.

See if a System Restore rollback to the previous date (when the drive was working fine) helps.
