Windows 7 New Laptop Password Required

I just got a new Sony Avio laptop Model # VGN-NW250F with Windows 7 installed. When it boots up I'm required to enter a password to continue to my desktop window. How can I get it to go directly to the desktop window wihtout entering a password?

Control Panel > User Accounts > Remove Your Password
 
Personaly I would leave the "Password" in place. Just makes it that much harder if your laptop gets stolen. And pretty much prevents use by unwanted people while you are away from it...
