I have an old Lenovo Thinkpad x200 that is running w10.
For some reason it would not boot up one day.
I tried various things to get the laptop to boot that required the windows password to be entered.
I entered the password but was told the password was incorrect.
The password had been bypassed anyway previously using netplwiz.
I had cloned the that hdd and i fitted the cloned hdd and it booted up ok.
My question is, the first hdd rejected the login password that i had and was sure was correct as i had it written down.
Is there some way you can access what the password is?
