Yahoo Missing EMails

I have a Yahoo address set up use when I have to give a EMail address out to
anyone other than my personal contacts. Only close contacts get my OE
address.

I received an EMail thru Yahoo a couple of weeks ago stating I had won the
Irish Lottery. I was certain this was a scam but replied just to see what
would happen. I had set up a folder in My Yahoo named " Lottery" and moved
the Emails to that folder! I went to this folder yesterday and all EMails
are gone. This is no loss since I know this was a scam tu could someone
tell me how this could happen. I know I never deleted them.
