XP Backup Problem

After I put a DVD+RW into my HP DVD burner, I tried to use Windows XP built-in Backup

The error message is "the backup file could not be used. Please ensure it is a valid path, and that you have sufficient access.

I have checked that the path is F:\ and valid, since explore can read it. I used Administrator Account

Any idea, please.

XP backup cannot backup directly to cd. You have to back it up to your hard
drive first then burn it to cd.

I don't believe the backup program works with DVD's
