backup utility

I'm trying to backup my hard drive to DVD-R using the
backup wizard.When i type file name: Backup080704 as the
file name i get this error:
Backup Utility
---------------------------
The backup file name could not be used.



Please ensure it is a valid path, and that you have
sufficient access.

I dont believe you can use default backup app for cd or dvd media

Hi,

No can do. Ntbackup doesn't write to CD media. You can create the backup
file on the hard drive, then copy this to disk if you wish. You may find it
better to simply backup to CD/DVD using a third party program like Nero
(www.ahead.de) or Alcohol (www.alcohol-soft.com).

The MS Backup Utility cannot backup to Optical drives such
as CD/DVD. I Suggest you Download a utilty such as drive
image, or try a few shareware programs to do this.
