Windows mail could not be started

The error message I’m getting started after doing some updates. (Should have
known better) I'm getting two the first one reads:

Windows mail could not be started. Initializing junk filtering, your
computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. (0X80070002)

When you click on the ok button then i get a second window which reads:
Windows mail could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized.

How do i fix this? I have tried some update however nothing seems to work.

Do you have antivirus software running? If so, try disabling it and see if
that makes any difference. Otherwise you can rename the Windows Mail
directory (change it to Windows Mail Old, or anything) under
C:\users\[yourusername]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail . You will
probably need to go to Control Panel | Folder Options | View and enable
showing hidden files and folders and also perhaps protected and OS files to
see those directories.

If that doesn't fix it then there is likely something else interfering.

That will give you a blank message store and it should start WinMail
completely fresh.
