Why does the font become bolder once I've edited a chart?

I click into the Microsoft Grph in PowerPoint, do the editing and close it.
Then I find the font has become bolder. But when I click back into the
graph/chart the font looks nromal (i.e Arial Bold 12). However, once I return
to presentation the font has changed. Am I confused.

Turn off autosize on the fonts in the chart.

Then right-click the chart on the slide and choose Format Chart. Make sure
it's set at 100% x 100%.
