Web sites not responding

I can access an initial web site, but clicking on some
links within a site gives me the "not responding" error.
In instance of this site, I can't post a message here.
When I click on "New Post" I'm left with the pointing
finger and when I go to task manager the program is not
responding. I've downloaded and have used Ad-aware
thinking I may have some spyware. The problem remains.
This poblem seems to have started when I started getting
a pop up from Ad Serve. In tring to remove this stuff I
may have caused this problem. Any help will be much
appreciated.

Hi Doug,

Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are open.

Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes)

Control panel/Internet options/programs tab, click on "reset all web
settings"

Reopen and retry the links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.s
