USB Cable Modem update

Is there previous discussion on "webSTAR" drivers? My
system has crashed twice now, saying the cable modem
adapter driver must be updated. It is not listed as
compatible with my XP. The website of Scientific Atlanta
(maker of webStar) has updates..what info do I need to
choose from the 3 updates? Thanks!
