upgrading my packard bell(advice needed)

Best think i should do is properly follow what " ITSME " Has said to me.

That i should borrow a xp cd from my mate and install that and see what happend then.

as i have been told by "ITSME" .

i will let you all know my friendS: ITSME, ABARBARIAN, WIZKID.

Do as Itsme says and borrow an XP cd from somebody...A recovery CD can only be used on the HDD it was created on..You can't use it on other HDD's

After i install the new XP operating system in my new hard drive form my mate, would i be able to create
a back-up of the xp software, so i dont need to aks him again for a xp cd. incase if i wanna install xp again ????/
