trying to install office xp professional

I had xp office on my computer before I installed win xp home edition. I had
to delete everything off the computer. I installed xp home edition then
tried installing office. I keep getting error messages and cant reinstall
office. How can I get this installed? I still have office documents on the
computer that I cant open.

I ran into this problem a couple of years ago. I couldn't do an uninstall,
couldn't do a repair install and couldn't install normally.

I had to perform a clean install of Windows 2000 and start everything fresh!
