I recently installed XP Professional on my computer temporarily before going
back to school. I used a copy from my dad's office CD. Is there any way to
change back to my original product with XP Home Edition using the original
product key?? Thanks

There is no 'downgrade' from Windows XP Professional Edition to Windows XP
Home Edition beyond a format and fresh installation of everything.

There's not really much difference in the two for most regular users either
(between Home and Professional.) Why did you 'temporarily upgrade'? Needed
the ability to join a domain? Encrypting File System?

While a methodolgy exists to change a product key, it only works for the
installed edition. To use your XP Home product key you will have to
reinstall XP Home.
