trouble with ctrl-alt in games

ive got an odd problem, started when i began playing
countersrike/diablo2 again recently

my ctrl, bound to "duck" doesent last long...how to explain,
it stays depressed, but in game randomly(usually within 2
seconds) it stops, my guy stands and runs again(big problem
in league play where silence is crucial"

alt is the same way, used in diablo to hilight items on the
ground

right now im useing mouse4 for duck, hard getting used to it

also this happens with every keyboard in my house, i have
5, microsoft, gateway, logitech brands, 3 are old 2 on both
running comps here, and both fail on my pc only
im running xp pro, other has xp

found latest drivers i could, didnt work, its not a big
problem, but annoing at times

also, these worked perfectly before i stopped playing those
games few months ago

Hi Eric,

Since you have multiple computers in the house, test the
game on the other systems to see if the same problem
occurs when you press the Ctrl or Alt keys. If not,
and the problem only occurs on that one system, then
you can look for a restore point from when it worked.
