Trying to reformat/restore XP Home from OEM disks. The
formatting and loading of the OS goes fine but when
booting the system hangs at a two tone blue screen that
says 'Please wait while Windows prepares to start....'. I
have tried reloading the OS again, but with the same
result. Machine is eMachine 1.4 celeron, 384 MB of RAM.
I have no peripherals attached. The only hardware
difference from out of the box is 384 MB of RAM vs. 128
from the factory. Any help would be appreicated. Thank
you.

Contact eMachines. Microsoft does not, will not and cannot assist with OEM
installations.
