Vista Issues

Hey all....have to say...don't mean to gloat...I have Vista Starter. Love
it. I have a 1 GHz Athlon, 384 MB of RAM (with 8 MB going for the
video...at 1024x768), AC97 audio, and a 10 GHz HDD. I have NO issues with
anything...all of my peripherals work, and I don't get any Blue Screens.
Perhaps those that have problems should look to Starter. AND...it's faster
than my XP HDD...same setup.

Cool. Glad to hear it. You're the first person I've heard of that's run
the Starter edition.

Where are you located (country?)?

384 mb of RAM?
I thought 512 mb was the minimum recommended.

That's what I thought at first, but the Starter Edition is made for PC's
with lower specs. Still recommends 512, but actual required is less.
