Restoring after Hibernate mode = takes too much time !!

Hi there!
Lately, this process takes too much time in my case...
my HDD is even coming almost to a halt at one stage!!
So I'd like to know now if there's a way of making a
"cleansing" of this Hibernate mode, so that afterwards
it'd reload once again my XP as fast as it used to be...

Hi Philippe,

Control Panel/Power Options, disable hibernate mode, then reboot. Delete the
hiberfil.sys file if it still exists on the root, then reenable hibernate
mode.
