Hi there,
Whenever I've hibernated my system, it takes almost as
much time as if I'd be...rebooting my PC "all the way"!!
And I surely noticed that my HDD "ticks" very slowly...
Someone told me in the past that I'd should disable this
function, reboot and then delete a possible still existing
file "hiberfil.sys" on the root...before re-enabling this
option "Hibernate" on my OS (which is "XP Pro").
Well, I did this (except that I couldn't locate this specific
file "hiberfil.sys", though) and at first I really thought that
"things" very indeed "speeding up a bit"...but nowadays
I'm DEFINITELY back to..."square number one"!!
So any valid tips would be highly appreciated; thanks...
Bye, Philippe.
