I'm totally computer illiterate, so this may seem like a
silly question but...I want to give my computer to my
daughter who lives at another address. I use millenium,
and want to know is it possible to take everything out of
the computer such that when I give it to her...all it has
is millenium. Basically I want to make it so that her mom(
who's pretty good with a computer..) cannot fool around
and get information she's not supposed to have. I want to
get the computer back to square one...like the first day
we got it, if this makes any sence..

When you bought the computer, did it come with a disc that says something
like "System Restore?" If so, put that disc in the CD drive, and reboot the
computer. Watch as it boots up. You ~may~ be prompted to press a key to
boot to the CD. If you are, press the key indicated (if one is) and then
follow whatever instructions you're given.

Just make sure before you do this you're sure you have any personal files
saved on another computer or disks or something, as all of your files will
be gone once you start the restore.
