We have 2 user accounts on our computer. On my user
account I have selected to Hide Inactive Icons on the
bottom right side of the menu bar. The problem is that it
does not hide the inactive icons. It remains as if I have
not selected "Hide inactive Icons" on the properties menu.
What do I do?
Thanks

Wow!! Thanks that worked. I have the chevron back.

Nicholas,
I have a similar problem, if you can help. I still have my chevron,
etc. My problem is that even though items are set to "hide when
inactive", they are staying to the right of the chevron and do not go
back to being hidden. I can force them all to "always hidden" which in
essence has the same effect, but this was working. Seemed to stop after
one of the most recent security patches. Are there any registry
settings on "amount of time to check before hiding" or something along
those lines? Thanks.
