Printer randomly decides whether to print

We have a user on Win2000 Pro who has been having problems with a network
printer for weeks; an HP5SiMX.

Sometimes she tells a file to print and it will, other times it says it is
printing but nothing shows up on the printer. She can print 2 or three
times in a row from the same application and randomly some will print and
others won't. It's in all applications, printing from online info, Word,
Access and Excel, etc. It she chooses another printer in the next office,
it always prints.

I have deleted and reinstalled the printer several times or her PC using the
server drivers and the add printer wizard. The server has the latest
drivers.

No-one alse has any problems with this printer, from Win98 or Win 2000.

Any ideas?
