I've just reinstalled an HP LJ6L printer under Windows 7 and it works fine with a new cartridge other than the print density is too dark. The only guidance in the User Manual (Troubleshooting 4-9) is "Adjust the print density through your software or printer driver. Unfortunately, selecting Economode at Print time for documents makes the print MUCH too light and I believe there is some other means of adjusting print density ( at least I believe there was with earlier Laserjets ).
It may, of course be the new cartridge but I don't want to buy yet another one. Any advice will be welcomed.
Any responses direct to me by e-mail would be welcomed
