One program freezes up

I was using microsoft word, it froze up and I can't get
out of just that program.It won't let me turn off my
computer. I can still use other programs etc. I have
tried to escape, no result. Thanks in advance if anybody
can help!

Try reinstalling Word. You won't lose any of your documents.
