Office deletes emails on me, how do I stop it?

Office 2003 will delete emails as it downloads and they are unretrievable.
They can not be found in my deleted items folders. This is for my
Comcast.net account, not hotmail.
 
are you using MS Access relational database software in some way, in your
email operation? if not, suggest you post to an appropriate newsgroup; this
newsgroup addresses working with external data within MS Access.
 
I don't know if I am using that or not. How do I post to a new newsgroup?
