(O.T.) Maybe a short explanation...

Although I didn't intend to look for responses to my message of
last Sunday (I came here to look for the link to Pixia, and where
can you find that better than in here), my news-reader brought me
to those responses. I must say I am very touched by all those
responses, and I think you all 'deserve' to know the reasons why I
stopped the site.

When I started my site, back in 1999, I couldn't think that it
would become such a hugh one. This year I reached more than 2000
links on my pages, and maintaining that number of links in a
proper way is a hell of a job. In the last months the site became
'my main job', and it came that far that I spent most of my time
in front of my computer, reading the newsgroups, looking for new
links to freewaresites, checking links, making descriptions of the
sites, adding them to the pages, and so on. I almost forgot that I
have a wife, children, relatives and friends, and more and more
the site 'ruled' my life. I'm very glad that I have a wife who
made clear to me that I really had to change something.

achieved on your site and understand the dilemma you are coming
