Hi, I'm new to this board, so if I don't give enough
information or am unclear, please let me know.
I've been keeping up to date on the security patches and
other MS downloads, and although I've already downloaded
patch 819696, it comes up on the list of necessary
updates every time I go into Windows Update. After
checking my installation history, I realized I've
installed the patch multiple times (well over 5 times),
and it claims to have downloaded successfully every time.
Is there a reason that it keeps coming up as a necessary
update? Should I keep installing it until it stops coming
up, or should I just leave it alone and forget about it?
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreicated. Thank
