Mouse clicks

I want to set my mouse for a single click as default in
Windows XP. How is that done? I have previously used
Windows 98 and this is still a feature in Windows 2000,
but I can't find it in the XP version.

Do you mean a single click to take the place of a double click ?

Open Windows Explorer, click the Tools menu, select Folder Options, under
"Click items as follows," on the General tab, select the single click
option, click apply and ok.
