Windows XP Reminisce about Windows and Plug and Play!

You guys have been playing with computers for as long as I have, do you remember which version of Windows finally supported Plug-N-Play?

I remember having to restart the computer whenever I plugged in a mouse or keyboard or printer :wall:

And then one day I was able to just Plug-N-Play! :fool:

If my memory serves me correctly it was 98! Correct me if I'm wrong :lol:

I distinctly remember having to restart my Windows 95 computer whenever I wanted to use a peripheral. I think it was Windows XP that finally got it right though. XP was a dream of an OS.
