Missing Security Tab after SP1a installed

I finally took the plunge and installed SP1a for Windows XP. Everything
seems to be fine except when I select a file, and go to properties, there is
no tab for Security. I have my drives formatted with NTFS, and the Security
tab was there before I installed SP1a. Is there a workaround, or is there a
way I can restore the Security Tab?

Hi Ray,

Control Pnael/Folder Options/View tab, disable simple file sharing.

sharing checked.

Hi,

Sounds dumb but....check it, click apply/ok and reboot, then uncehck it,
click apply/ok and reboot once more.

Also, reset the Services configuration to defaults:
Visit http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm and download the
services configuration script.

I want to thank everyone for their help, I reinstalled the service pack and
that seems to have fixed the problem. I now have the Security Tab back.
