Problems after Installing SP1A

RAM: 2048MB (2GB)
O.S. Win XP Pro' SP1A

Hi All,

Just installed Service Pack 1A from Microsoft and now am unable to
restart on shutdown. When I try to restart or shutdown System hangs on
Logging Out..... This is pretty much a minor problem due to the fact
that the main problem I am having since SP1A installation is that the
system is so slow! I have 2GB of physical RAM and plenty of HD space
(over 60% free on both 170GB drives). Have used a registry optimizer,
defragged, and scandisked and checked for a virus.

Any ideas ?

Remove sp1

Gee thanks for the advice I worked that much out but it's not a very
good solution is it considering SP1A does have a lot of fixes that are
needed.
