keeps on sending the same email over and over

I can send an email to a single person and they will keep receiving the email
until i remove it from the outbox. Sometime it will just send out 20-30
copies then stop and sometimes it works normal and they get just the single
email sent out. How can i fix this?

If you have any type of security solution installed on your desktop that can
scan outgoing e-mail, turn it off (or uninstall it) temporarily to see if
the problem corrects itself. If it doesn't, then it sounds like there is
something wrong with the SMTP server you connect to and/or something is
causing the SMTP transaction to fail right before Outlook wants to close the
connection to the SMTP server gracefully.

The most common cause of this is scanning email with an antivirus scanner,
particularly outgoing mail. Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it
without the mail scanning feature and see if that helps.
