sending the same email over and over again...

I try to send an email and it's being re-sent over 10 times! Untill I delete
it from the outbox.
How can I resolve this?
It only happens with emails with attachment by the way...

Without any configuration details any answer provided would be just a wild
gues.

it's a pop account in outlook (not express). when I send a normalmail, all is
ok, but when I attach something (more then a couple of 100 kb) it just keeps
sending.

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable it and try
again. If that doesn't help, resetting your modem and/or router might help
sometimes as well.

yes. I have Bit Defender. I will try that trick. But is there any sustainable
solution? can I recoonect that virusscanner again?

Good. I tried disabling the scanner and... you were right! it doesn't happen
now! So, I guess I just have to do something about that scanner...

If you know any trick, great. Anyhow: thanks very much for the help!

Alright then! Either look for updates on BitDefender or just leave as is
since integration is redundant anyway and (as noticed) more often only
caused issues. The default security features of Outlook and an up-to-date
on-access scanner are sufficient.
