Receiving same messages over and over

Struggling but hopeful

I'm using Outlook 2003 on both my laptop and my home computer. The home
computer is fine, but when I opened Outlook on the laptop after several weeks
of not using it, I had lots of emails which I opened. Nine of those emails
started being re-sent to me every time the Send/Receive was activated.

I have tried deleting cookies and temp internet files and then rebooting,
but I'm still getting those same nine messages over and over and over.

Any suggestions on how to tell the program to stop sending them to me?

Log on to your webmail interface & delete these nine msgs, or create a
folder & move them to this folder
(I assume a pop account)

Sorry, but I have no idea what that means! How do I "log on to [my] webmail
interface" to find these nine messages?

Virtually every email provider, including if this is an email account
provided by your business, uses a mail system that also has the means for
you to access a web page using your browser, enter your login id and
password and work with your email account on line. The other common term
for this ability is "webmail."

If this is not a mail account from your business, browse to your internet
provider's home page and look for a login link. Once you log in, you would
normally see a link for mail.

The suggest is that you do this so that you can tell the mail server (by
deleting these 9 messages) to delete the emails and hopefully get you out of
this loop.

If you don't know how to access your mail provider's web interface, contact
their support group and ask for help.
