Jobs reprinting

Windows 2000/2003 Server with about 400 printers, mostly
HP. Printing over the internet. Large jobs(15MB or
50pages) get about half way through the print job then
restart. We set all the timeouts on the printer to the
max, no errors in the event log. Print job send to
printers local to the server do not hav this issue. Any
ideas?
Also are there any good references on monitoring/perfmon
on print servers(and not just number of jobs and out of
paper errors).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have enough spool space on the print server? Spool
folder ever get cleaned out? Stop/Start print spooler
service as well.

More that enough space in the spool dir and we do have a
scheduled job that stops the spooler and deletes all files
in the spool folder every morning.
