Print jobs do not leave printer queue.

I have a problem with my print queues on several different printers.
The print jobs will not leave the queue after printing. I checked
under printer properties and the keep printed jobs is not checked. I
also unistalled and reinstalled the printer drivers with no change. I
can go in and manually delete the print jobs ok but if I forget to do
this everything in the queue will print if I restart the computer and
then will disapear. Any ideas on what my problem might be?

Disable BiDirectional on the Ports tab for these HP devices.

HP might have a new driver but disabling the HP language monitor does the
trick.
