XP Home SP-2.
Found the following Error by checking Event Viewer; "The IPSEC Services
service failed to start due to the following error: The account specified for
this service is different from the account specified for other services
running in the same process." (the event ID is 7000). The service is set to
Startup automatically.
Checked dependencies on IPSec and found it depends on IPSec Driver, RPC, and
TCP/IP. Then checked IPSec, RPC, and TCP/IP Netbios Helper in Services. All
logon to NT Authority\LocalService. No other system errors are reported in
Event Viewer.
I have thoroughly searched the MS KB, XP help, and TechNet XP newsroups for
mention of this problem (service not starting; service will not run) but
with no results.
Question: How can I get this service to Start and Run.?
