IPSEC Services

I get an error message in the event viewer on the system page: The IPSEC
Services service has terminated with the following error: The
autrhentication service is unknown..Can anyone explain this error and how to
correct it? Thanks

Are you getting this error repeatly after you reboot the computer? Did
you reboot the computer?

I have only seen this error in the event viewer and is listed many times.
Every time the computer is rebooted it appears in the viewer.

Hi PH,

Try this.

Open Control Panel then open Administrative Tools. Click on Component
Services. Now click on everything underneath Component Services starting at
Computers and under My Computer. What is does, is to check the Windows
Registry thru Component Services and asks to add Registry Entries, if they
are not in the Windows Registry to the Windows Registry.

I learned this by accident. See what happens now on reboots.
