invalid path for backup windows xp home edition

When using the wizard I am asked to assign a file name to my rewritable CD.
The path is pointing to the D drive which is the CD and I can browse to it. I
tried assigning a name backup_01_26_06.bkf. I get a message that says that
the backup file name could not be used. Please ensure that it is a valid path
and that you have sufficient access. I believe that I set myself up as an
administrator on my computer. What do I do now?
Thanks,

Hi Dan,
Sadly, you can't Backup Directly to a CD in XP or any other unless it been
configure as external Storage Devices, which you should do is to backup to A
Folder on your Desktop then you can Write the Data to the CD,you will always
get the Error Message that the Path couldn't be used in the case of Backing
up direct to CD.
Hope that Helps.
