incomplete installation of SP4

While Installing W2K SP4 i receive the error SP4iis -
unable to connect to metabase. Setup failed to remove
ism.dll script mappings. Service pack setup will abort.
any way out please?

I had the same problem. I read a meesage in this forum
that said to unistall IIS then run SP4. After you install
SP4 then reinstall IIS. It worked for me.
