When adding a web site to my favorites I see the custom icon of the new web
site. After a while that icon is replaced by a standard IE icon. Is there a
way to hold on to the custom icon in the favorites list?
Thanks,

They're called Favicons. They are stored in Temporary Internet Files (TIF)
and are lost when TIF is cleared or they expire out of TIF. They can be
preserved with this program:

FavOrg:

FavOrg - Restore and Save Favorite Icons (Line 108)

or get AM-Deadkink

Hello,

I want to add that the Quero Toolbar also helps IE "to remember" these
custom icons if you visit your favorites regularly.
