IE6 and icons

On my favorites bar when I load a new site I see the custom icon for that
site, for only a short time. Afterward I see the standard Windows icon. Is
tere a way to keep the custom icon for each site?

Hi,
Favicons are kept in the Temporary Internet Files folder and are eventually
replaced by newer files or are cleared when the TIF is cleared.

These programs (freeware) will preserve favicons:
