IE 6.0 Favorites Icons revert to MS "e" icon

How can I restore my Favorites icons to the customized
logo icons of each web site? New sites' logo icons
display OK when first added, but after performing a
Win2000 update they change to the default MS "e" icon. If
I delete a favorite link and re-add it, the "e" icon
returns instead of the web site's unique icon.

I have FavOrg on my Windows XP machine, and it does restore the favicons
on the Start|Favorites menu. But when I use IE6, all Favorites appear
with the default 'blue e' icon, and URLs in the address bar also show
the default icon. Any ideas?
