I lost 'heading' to choose quick styles in Word

When I first started Word. I had no problem with the 'headings' like: 'Home'
'Insert' etc. However, for some reason (probably a mistake I made) when I
click on to Word now there is no Heading with all the quick styles etc. I
get only the small headings of 'Home' 'Insert' etc and when I click on to,
say, 'Home' the rest of the Heading appears. However, the quick styles
heading disappears when I start to type. It is very frustrating, and I hope
someone will be able to help me to get back - what I believe is called "The
Rhythym at the top of the Word page.
