I agree with you

I care
whether the person I am speaking to can help me or not, and how long
oit
takes to get that help And that has much more to do with the
individual than
with where he's located. I've had good telephone support from people
within
the US, and I've had terrible support from people within the US. I've
had
good telephone support from people outside the US, and I've had
terrible
support from people outside the US.
Your complaint should be with Kevin, not with offshore support in
general.
Don't paint everyone outsude the USA (or in it, for that matter)
with the
same brush.
I resent that you feel that way, Ken.
It is called Patriotism
or Nationalism
HERE .. I put it in bold so you could see it ...
nationalist
adj : *devotion to the interests or culture of a particular nation
including promoting the interests of one country over those of
others*; "nationalist aspirations"; "minor nationalistic differences"
[syn: nationalistic] n 1: one who loves and defends his or her
country [syn: patriot] 2: an advocate of national independence of or
a strong national government
I am not flaming people from other countries, I am just looking at the
best intrests of my own.
Lets create this scenario .. Lets take you when you were a kid... Your
dad worked for microsoft or some other company and lost his job
because it was moved to INDIA. Lets just say you are .. 15 years old
or so... daddy can't buy you that new car you wanted when you got old
enough to drive... you have to move to cheaper housing... Possibly
some family stress due to lack of income could lead to your parents
divorcing... Health issues come into play somewhere here ... and here
you sit.. on the phone with Tech Support with a person you barely
understand doing EXACTLY what your dad used to do .... would you
care then? I think you'd hold a grudge knowing what kind of
devastation it has caused you.. and any generations succeeding you.
I'm not saying all tech support in the US is the greatest, but even
those non-americans are sitting there reading from a flow chart,
telling you what to do next if this step doesn't work. It would be a
little bit easier if you could at least understand what is being said
to you.
O-K-NOW-Prais dis Olt Eff FOER Kiaz PLIS. translates to Press the
Alt-F4 keys. Umm... Repeat that.

I am not pro Bush nor am I against everything he has done, but he
hasn't bombed me yet so I can't speak on that part.
A lot of the decisions are not "systematically" made by him.
I do believe there is a conflict of interest with some of his
decisions.
60% of his family's wealth came from oil, while the other 40% came from
cattle. Both have dramatically increased since he took office.
I believe the apostrophe was meant to be AFTER the "s" .. just a typo
but I don't think that makes him stupid.
I'm no english teacher,
you meant "than ever before." or did you know the difference?
I guess that makes you .... "stupid" ? You are definitely one to
enlighten someone on their grammatical skills about as equally as
myself.

Said her name was "Dorothy" and she had an Indian accent. This is the
second time I've called a company, had the call shipped to India, and
the person on the phone used an American name. I think these
companies like Microsoft know we hate these Indian/overseas call
centers so they think they can fool us into acceptance by having
these people use American names. Well anyone with a brain knows they
are not Americans on the phone. You can tell by all the static on
the line and sometimes the systems on their end are very slow in
responding. Hey Microsoft, if you want Americans to buy your
expensive operating systems and applications, then stop shipping the
jobs overseas.

Government wants to tax the corporations to death to ship the products
out of the country, and the corporations see that it is cheaper to BUY
a piece of land... build a building and employ hundreds of workers at a
fraction of the cost, and then have our products shipped into the USA
2/3 cheaper than it was to ship it out.
Multi Billion dollar industries would saw their own leg off to make a
billion MORE dollars next year than they did this year.
Not ONCE did I blame a foreigner for any of the above. I just have a
problem understanding them, when all they do is read from a friggin
flow chart. Any problem you have that does NOT show on this flow
chart, is outside their vocabulary, and of course you must be put on
hold so they can either ask someone ELSE, or have someone translate it.
That is why we American's basically rule the world?

ANONYMOUS said:You are a typical american who doesn't know what is going on on this
planet. When Bush came to power, he didn't know there was a country
called China because he had never travelled outside USA. In fact he
didn't even have a passport!
Perhaps, you should travel a lot instead of bombing peasants who are
content with what they have have. You are trying to impose your will
on them and forcing them to change so that they can understand you.
How about you lot try to understand them?
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. How is "Great" Britain under
Tony Blair any different?
Jitendra said:Knowing a good english doesnot mean u r positive...does it mean so?
Being positive is something related to ur mind...
ANONYMOUS said:Great Britain is doing very well indeed. The only mistake Tony Blair
made was to follow George Bush blindly. British econony is at its
strongest in the last 30 years or so. Employers can't find enough
workers to do certain skilled jobs. This is partly due to previous
conservative party not invested enough in education and training.
This is being corrected under Tony blair.
Tony blair is not popular at present because of his stance towards
Iraq and his affiliation with George Bush. He did very well when he
supported Bill Clinton.
******************Reply Separator*************************That is why we have a mess anywhere a yank went! Germany was divided
for nearly 50 years (East and West Germany)! Iraq will never have a
piece as long as Americans are in charge of the World peace!. I won't
be surprised if Iraq is also divided into Kurdish, Sunnis and Shias'
land! This means war in perpetuity! Constant demand for American
weapons of mass destruction! More jobs for Amricans unless this too
is outsourced!

After voting Pres. G. W. Bush Jr. a second term, the whole world thinks
Americans are stupid. It's the premise MS is most probably acting on. Anyway
J.D.B it is the U.S pushing for the (double speak) level playing field, free
market, free world, democracy everywhere. If you disagree, you'll get
annihilated, guess MS support goes offshore then. Just don't feel ambivalent
if you get a chance to pirate MS software, then call India for activation
and support, you'll feel better for it.

In Philosophy, two wrongs don't make a right. In Mathematics two negatives
make a positive.
I think maths is more precise.
Dear All Frustrated People
This is not the question of Indian or American. But skilled and the unskiled
one. America is also prividing such foolish help centres. The example is
Macromedia. A month back i called Macromedia product help center and
finsihed with disappointment. This was a direct product help center. I was
surprised by
theier product knowledge. Whoops u can get better people in India.
I m from India and ofcourse i understand your problem. When some1 needs help
and the other end is just with a blank mind. But there is nothing to blame
India.
I think this is the habit of Americans of blaming the world over. Sometimes
they blame China then Iraq, then India then Russia....and so on. This is true
dear Aliens will land first on America.
Pls get rid of this and come positive with the world.
Whtever is happening is coz of the business profits in USA so blame yr
people not India.
