help removing printer

I'm having to remove a printer from a PC, but I can't remove it from
the user account. It says I don't have permission to delete it, but
when I log in as admin, the printer is not listed, it's already
deleted. How do I delete a user printer?
 
is this on a xp machine or on a network?

if xp then just log in as admin, give yourself admin rights then log back in
as the user to delete the printer

if its on the network you will have to talk to your networki administrator
for the appropriate rights.
