I'm still having problems with my computer shutting itself down:
c:\windows\system 32\lsass.exe terminated unexpectdly with status code
1073741818
This all started as soon as I uninstalled McAfee VirusScan which I was
replacing with Norton Anitvirus. I tried running the FxSasser.exe fix
but it wasn't able to scan my computer, it kept hanging up on certain
files. I deleted the ones that were my own files but then it got to the
system files and I was hesitant about deleting system32\ersvc.dll.
Another suggestion was to run AVG virus program which I did, with system
restore turned off. It found a virus in a Java zip file and I deleted
that file.
When I reconnected to the internet, using a wireless card on my laptop,
I once again got the "Shutdown in 60 seconds" message. This certainly
appears to have something to do with being connected to the internet
since it doesn't shut itself down when not connected.
Thank you for any suggestions on what's going on and how to fix it.
