HELP! i can't Install SP2!!

i can't seem to install SP2 even though i've tried more than once. I was
wondering if anybody can help me with this. Everytime i try to install SP2 it
won't install all the way and it'll say these all the way:

1. SP2 Setup could not back up registry key
HKCR\Software\Classes\DirectPlay8Diagnotics to file
C:\Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall\reg00206

" "reg00208
" "reg00209
" "reg00210
" "reg00211
5. Access is Denied

2. SP2 Setup could not back up registry key
HKCR\DirectPlay8NATResolver to file
C:\Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall\reg00190

" "reg00193
" "reg00194
" "reg00195
5. Access is Denied

3. SP2 could not back up registry key
HKCR\Psisdecd.AtSCTerrestrialCLSID to file
C:\Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall\reg00478

" "reg00481
" "reg00482
" "reg00483
5. Access is Denied

4. SP2 Setup could not back up registry value
HKCR\.dvr-ms,\'PerceivedType.video\'. 5. Access is denied

so yeah after it goes through all that it ultimately stops and says "Access
is Denied"
and then it uninstalls everything it already installed. Sooo if anybody is
generous enough to help me out with that i would be very very happy because i

You receive an "Access is denied" error message when you try to install
Windows XP Service Pack 2
