Back from dahn souf to find 7 inches of snow here. Still snowing and lots more promised for the weekend. Won't be taking the car out for several days by the look of it.

Looks like a Xmas card.

No, Cornwall is in the South West.
Of course for a Londoner anything North of Watford is in the North of England!!:D

OOoooooooh, let's get pedantic :)

Of course Cornwall's dahn souf.

In the UK it's about as souf as you can get in fact.

I will mention: John O Groats to........ Lands End :D

My brother in law has just gone back to Sweden,he lives in Stockholm. He rang to say that the temp` is below 17 cent, and lots of snow.

While he was over here he didn`t think it was that cold!!.
As for snow-----not a flake of it here is South London.

That's a very interesting map.

I see that you could be actually north of Grimsby and classed as being in the Souf.

Weird. :)

Got another 4-5 inches last night and it's been snowing on and off all day.

This is worse than it was in January. Forecast is snow till at least Thursday :( People can't get off their driveways. Schools all shut and hardly anything at all on the roads. Local shop sold out of bread.

It's a war out there. :D But, it does look beautiful at the moment.

Woke up early this morning at 0500 and it has just started snowing still only about an inch though, so not too bad. I will have to clear the wifes car as she has to go to work in Ashford.

It's finally hit the big metropolis, snowing steadily here.

Doesn't look as if it's going to settle though, atm we have just a fine coating which melts pretty quick.

Things are improving - only half an inch of snow overnight. :)

But, a lot more forecast for the next three days. :(

My wife has an outpatient appointment today at the local hospital. It's about two and a half miles away so we will probably walk it - it will be easier than trying to drive. We have all the appropriate walking gear and walking in the snow can be very pleasant.

We too, have had more overnight - just a light fall by the look of it, but the previous lot hasn't gone yet, so as my late mum would have said ..."It's hanging around for more!" :D
