Receiving the following error on an XP machine when trying to open IE 6.0. I
have tried upgrading to IE 7 and still receiving the error.

Faulting application iexplore.exe version 7.0.5730.11 faulting module
msvcr71.dll version 7.10.3052.4 fault address 0x00002eeee

Note that an IE update is not meant to fix such problems.

IE does not need the file "msvcr71.dll". Disable the IE add-ons and scan
your system for malware.
