Excel 2007 crashes when trying to change font color

Yesterday, Excel 2007 started crashing when I try to change the text color.
I haven't had this problem before and did some basic things to try to remedy
the problem: pulled the data values into a new file, tried it with older
files that have different text colors, and (even) ran a repair on my Office
Suite. I'm stumped. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to
fix it?

I can't help you but I have been having this problem for the last month - it
seems to be intermittent. I look forward to anybody being able to help!
